Upon acceptance of this flight ticket by the passenger, an air carriage contract is concluded between the passenger and Profly. Austrian law applies to this contract.
In order to cover the passenger’s claims, liability insurance was taken out for the insurance sum stipulated by law for commercial passenger transport in Austria (€363,000 for personal injury, €1,800 for property damage).
Furthermore, accident insurance has been taken out in the event of the death or permanent disability of the passenger (sum insured: €40,000).
Proof of insurance must be carried in the aircraft.
We would like to point out that accidents can also occur when paragliding, for example when taking off or landing, as a result of stumbling or misconduct. We try to keep this risk as low as possible. The passenger is therefore obliged to follow the instructions of the pilot in charge during take-off, landing and during the flight and confirms that he is in good physical and mental condition.
To cover the passenger’s claims under the liability provisions of the Austrian Aviation Act, for example in the event of an accident, we have taken out the necessary insurance with AXA Versicherung AG.
Items that are carried (particularly glasses, cameras, mobile phones and other valuables as well as money) must be properly fastened or stowed away. We cannot assume any liability for loss or damage.
The planned flight route, planned landing sites and flight times can be changed at any time – in particular for safety or operational reasons – without the passenger being entitled to compensation.
The Profly team wishes you a pleasant flight!
